Less than 1 in 1000 diamonds is cut in the cushion shape and of these less than 1 in 5-10 is a sqaurish shape. The majority of cushion cut diamonds are over 1 carat as they look smaller than the same carat round brilliant diamond.
At any one time, cushion cut diamonds are not available in every single combination of carat/colour/clarity hence some flexibility is required in your budget and specification.
